Lizard bracelet

Hello there, I am a lizard bracelet, carved by hand from a natural piece of lovely horn. You can get me at the amazing Avanova design shop from Austria!

Spiritual lizard cuff bracelet

The form of this beautiful bracelet is carved like a lizard - an ancient spirit animal of humanity.

In some of our big statement cuffs we cut a lovely lizard. Now, lizards are not only cute and decorative, they gathered quite some symbolic value over the centuries.

Lizard as spirit animal, carved into a thick horn cuff bracelet

Since the lizard is able to shed its tail in the face of imminent danger (the tail will grow back), the animal stands for death and resurrection, rebirth, rejuvenation and the longing for the spiritual.

Horn is very tough and light as a feather. Considering the natural patterns, it is the perfect material for making wonderful jewellery. Bear in mind that thanks to the natural pattern of raw cow or buffalo horn, each piece of jewellery turns out to be of unique colour and texture.
