Sustainable Packaging

As a jewellery trader, in the beginning we focussed solely on our lovely, hand made horn jewellery - and so I completely neglected the question of packaging. But now, we have a concept.

And it's green!

Our Packaging Philosophy

What use is it to write hand made, sustainable and good quality on your flags, when the packaging is just another ton of damn plastic that ends up in a landfill?

Not much I guess.

Therefore we developed a packaging principle that follows one simple question:
If we throw the whole package - wrapping, stuffing, tape, carton etc.. in the forest, will it disintegrate and become part of the ecosystem again?

While we still try to use up all the old materials lying about, the goal is to only use our improved, sustainable and biodegradable packaging material in the future. Paper and wood, made mostly in Austria and the EU.

Sustainable, biodegradable packaging materials

Some may think, beautiful handmade horn jewellery looks best in a fancy jewellery box.
We think our products are best packed and shipped in a biodegradable, sustainable box.
